1990: The Bronx Warriors-Mini Lobby Cards (1982)

Today, we feature the mini-lobbies from the iconic 1990: The Bronx Warriors. A film directed by Enzo G. Castellari, Kill Them All and Come Back Alone (1968) and The House By the Edge of the Lake (1979.)

Equal parts influenced by the first two Mad Max films (1979 & 1981), The Warriors (1979), and Escape From New York (1981), Castellari created what is now regarded as a pivotal film in the "Apocalypse Action" film genre. Inspired by those films, Enzo crafted a movie that would go on to inspire nearly all of the movies that followed it, which popped up on a weekly basis at local video stores throughout the rest of the 1980s, 1990s, and into the 21st century. For an extremely deep dive into every aspect of 1990: The Bronx Warriors, ICFH encourages anyone interested to visit Lance Manley's Bronx Warriors website. There, you will find the most complete run-down of the film and its two sequels, expertly curated.
