An Unholy Alliance! ICFH and MAKEFLIX Join Forces!

We are ecstatic to announce that the entire line of It Came From Hollywood books are available directly from Makeflix! (This includes The Brain That Wouldn't Die 60th Anniversary Novelization!) The best in independent book publishing has entered into an alliance with the best in independent films to offer a one-stop shop for all your indie film and film journalism needs!

They said, "Don't do it!" Some said we couldn't do it. Others told us it shouldn't be done. They warned us not to even try. "This union should not be formed!"

When Rob and Paul sat down at the table with J.R. Bookwalter to discuss about it, they agreed, "Let's do it!"

The high sheriff at the local post office did everything in his power to stop us. Stories were told. Excuses made. Angry phone calls buzzed across state lines. Investigations were made. Inquiries inquired. More excuses and half-truths. Mystery still colors what really happened. We may never learn the truth, but this is a story for another time.

Rest assured, the one thing independent creators don't know how to do is give up. We don't quit. We're the most tenacious group of stubborn people you'll ever encounter. At the end of the day it's about doing what we love doing, which is creating.

J.R. Bookwalter needs no introduction around ICFH. We've been watching his flicks since his first one, the homegrown, shot in Ohio on Super-8 zombie classic The Dead Next Door. He's the president of Tempe Entertainment and Makeflix is where you go to pick up the best from the indie scene. (It's also where you go for hard to find Retromedia flicks!)

You can see on my laptop, which should be open to the next novelization ICFH is publishing so I can wrap it up, but I'll get to it... You can see that Makeflix is where you go to get the DVD for Fred Olen Ray and Jim Wynorski's Dinosaur Island, or other fine new products such as a VHS copy of Fred Olen Ray's The Brain Leeches, the Blu-ray for Milfs vs. Zombies, or the limited edition VHS for Mulva: The Whole Shitty Affair. It's all here and more.

There are dozens and dozens of flicks and more books available. Now through Monday, a ton of these titles are on sale for Memorial Day Weekend! Buy some stuff, save some bucks!

Head over to Makeflix this weekend and see what you can find. DVDs, Blu-rays, VHS, books, and now It Came From Hollywood!

Have a safe and relaxing weekend!
